And, so it begins.
I'm excited, and intimidated to enter a game where I have no idea who any of these people are, lol. I started my ORG career with one site a long time ago, and have just stuck with them.
So, I'm glad that it's a partner twist. That gives me easy access to really try and get to know people. I've not gotten to talk to my partner, Andrew yet.
Sadly, I won't be able to make the first HOH due to a wedding shower. Silly me, think I'd have all of my priorities lined up right.
So far the only person I've talked to in the game is Kelly. She approached me last night, and she wanted to go through all of our favorite Survivor Contestants....we matched on 2 lol. Then she just blurted out that we should make an alliance. Of course I'm going to accept it, but we had barely even spoke before it came out of her mouth. She seemed nice enough, but don't try forcing alliances right from the get go. I've always liked to go in and see who I really mesh with before making a mistake and getting paired with a lunatic or pathological liar. I'm sure she's going to do the exact same thing with each and every other contestant as well.

The HoH is a 24 hour competition, so I think you'll be ok. As for the Kelly situation. Man o man do I know a lot of people who make alliances too fast, lol.

I get to talk to Andrew some and he seems like a cool guy. We start off on our HOH challenge, not really hellbent on winning; but neither of us like throwing challenges. And, once we realize Rhonda/Andii are posting quite a bit as well it increased our competitiveness.
Right now we're ahead, but we both need sleep. Hopefully if the girls do overtake us we can make it back up tomorrow before the deadline. It would suck to put that much time in it and lose. Plus, not knowing anyone makes me paranoid.

I have to say, I'm a little bummed that we didn't take the win there. But, Evan/Kelly seemed determined to take it.
According to Kelly, there was some drama between Evan and someone (I believe she said Cat). So, he was just trying to keep himself safe from that. And, Kelly also said that should they take it that Andrew and I would be safe. Which, sounds pretty sweet to me.
But, I would've hoped to have been safe anyway. Normally first week HOH's target the least active players. And, it turns out Evan/Kelly have done just that.
Sadly, Mike's a victim of it, since his partner has been MIA for a while. So, if I can I'll help them out and use the veto on them.

So, I talked with Andrew about the PMs that Mike sent us. (He sent us PMs about why he chose us to play veto).
Earlier, I had told Mike that should we win veto, that I'd be cool with taking him down; but I'd need to talk to Andrew about it. Andrew said he likes Mike as well, but this stage of the game it's probably not in our best interest to screw with the noms. I don't necessarily agree with this, but I'm not going to piss off my partner.
Instead, I said that I would aid Mike in any way I could so he could win veto himself, but I'm not going to just lay down and lose a challenge on purpose either. So, I'll give it my all, and still have full intentions on giving Mike a good shot to win.
My only concern is that, should they see that I'm helping Mike, that we might go up in their place.

Well, it was a relatively close veto challenge. But, in the end Evan pulled out the win.
So, Mike will stay up on the block, which sucks. But, he'll have my support, and hopefully Andrew's as well.
He needs 7 votes to stay in, and will hopefully just have to pull over 5 people to the cause.
